Our mystic cosmos's honey comes from the nectar of wildflowers in the forests of the Western Ghats. The composition is said to change with the seasons. What doesn’t change is the endless list of benefits.

Characteristics of our raw forest honey :

Our honey has a dark amber color. Its flavor is a little strong. The aroma of forest honey is characterized by being floral, malty, and very intense. We don’t pasteurize the honey. Hence it retains its beneficial antioxidants, vitamins, nutrients, and enzymes.

Westernghats' wildly remote location, our unique climate, and our determination to protect the environment mean our honey has unique taste all its own.

We carefully place our hives in some of the most remote locations around our regions, like grasslands or deep forests. Sure, it can make collecting our honey a little challenging, but we know that the further away from civilization we go, the clearer the air... and purer the honey.

From our hives to your hands, we treat our honey with the respect it deserves. That means no overheating, no pasteurizing, and no artificial anything. Mystic honey is fully traceable to its source and free from bee pesticides, with no added sugar or water—and absolutely, passionately, no chemicals! That way, you know it’s 100% natural, just as nature intended..

Life is a flower, of which love is the honey.

DIFFERENCE :

What is raw honey?

1. Raw honey comes straight from the honeycomb. The beekeeper will usually just filter the honey to remove small bits of debris, including pollen, beeswax, and parts of dead bees. They do not pasteurize the honey.

2. Raw honey does not contain any ingredients other than the honey from the beehive.

3. Raw honey is only strained before it’s bottled, which means it retains most of the beneficial nutrients and antioxidants that it naturally contains.

4. Raw honey may crystallize more quickly than regular honey.

5. Promotes digestive health.

6. No added sugar

What is "regular" honey?

1. Regular, or pasteurized, honey is clear and smooth. The pasteurization process improves the honey’s appearance, increases its shelf life, and kills yeast cells that can affect the taste of the honey. It also reduces the number of antioxidants and nutrients in the honey.

2. Regular honey products contain added sweeteners, such as high fructose corn syrup.

3. Conversely, regular honey may undergo a variety of processing methods that may remove beneficial nutrients like pollen and reduce its level of antioxidants.

4. Does not crystallize.

5. It may cause health issues in the long run.

6. Loaded with sugar

Note:

Placing the jar of raw honey in a pot of hot water will melt the crystals and turn it liquid again. Be careful not to overheat the honey, as this may destroy some of its nutrients.

AYURVEDA:

As ayurvedic medicine, honey is used to treat a wide array of illnesses, ailments, and injuries, whether it is mixed with other remedies and consumed or applied to the skin.

Honey contains a number of minerals and vitamins, including vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, and calcium. There are also other important antioxidants, such as flavonoids and alkaloids. There are trace amounts of more than 15 amino acids found in honey.

Humans have been using honey medicinally for as long as 8,000 years to treat conditions like:

Hiccups, stress, weakness, bed wetting and frequent urination, bad breath, the effects of hangovers, teething pain in babies older than 1 year, eczema and dermatitis, burns, cuts, and wounds, coughs and asthma, sleep disturbances, vision problems, stomach ulcers, diarrhoea, and dysentery, vomiting, high blood pressure, obesity, jaundice, arthritis, etc.

Warning:

Honey is safe for most people over 12 months of age. However, infants 12 months of age and younger should not eat any honey, including raw and regular honey. A baby’s digestive tract has not yet developed enough to fight off the bacteria.
